Items from the Liberace Estate
In 1988, Museum founders Dixie Huckabee and Stella Stubbe went to Liberace's estate auction and purchased several spectacular cut glass pieces from his personal collection. These items are prominently displayed at the Museum. In addition, there's a souvenir music box from the Liberace Museum (now closed) which is kept with the cut glass pieces, plus the bidder's paddle and the Auction Catalog, both framed and hanging in the Museum.
The slide show on this page provides some photographs of the pieces as they sit in the case. The slide will automatically start, displaying each photograph for about five seconds, then moving on to the next. When all slides have been displayed, the show starts over again.
